Synopsis:
Saeed, a 44 year old architect, is leading a happy life with his 12 year old daughter, Nabat, in Tehran. Nabat has been raised by her father since she was one year old and Saeed’s dual parenting role has formed a special bond between father and daughter. However, when a woman unexpectedly enters their lives, all three characters are confronted by their greatest fears and secrets. Events hidden in the past come to light and they must make decisions that will change their lives forever.

Director’s Statement:
Times change. People change too. And for me, the core of change resides in our primary emotions. Simple emotions enable us to make both the easiest and the most intricate decisions, decisions springing from either one modest emotion, or a confusion of them. Either way, these decisions then start shaping our reality and, in turn, our lives.
My aim was to make a film for a public that wants to dig into their own internal defences and emotions, for anyone willing to explore past decisions with frankness and honesty. A film for anyone who has ever dealt with love and hate or felt fear or experienced remorse, for anyone who has wrestled with anger or felt a hidden sadness. A film for anyone who has forgiven or forgotten or lied to or judged someone else. In effect, for anyone who’s ever been haunted by one decision, one lie, one secret, or one momentary lapse of reason.
