Amirhossein Asgari

Biography:
Amirhossein Asgari was born in Tehran on November 22, 1978. Starting his career in theater, he graduated from the School of Dramatic Arts and entered the world of cinema and television. After having been director’s assistant in numerous films and series, he made his first, completely experimental short film, ‘A Short Nap’, in 2008. ‘Maybe Another Time’, his second short, brought him success by participating in national and international festivals. Shortly afterwards, he made his first feature film ‘Borderlesss’ (2014), which won the ‘Best Asian Feature Film Award’ at the 27th Tokyo International Film Festival.
‘The ‘Last Snow’ is his second feature.
